Dominican Republic 2008 |

The Carpenters For Christ worked with Restoration Church in Spartanburg, South Carolina to help build orphanage homes and related buildings including a mission house in the county of Bani’(Bah-knee) Dominican Republic. We will have the privilege of working with a missionary couple out of Cornerstone Church in Taylors, South Carolina, Danny and Denise Stone. A crew of about 80 joined in on this mission February 6 - 16 2008. Although the project was not completed, it will be going on for some time, progress was made during this time to bring it up out of the ground and up several course of blocks on the walls. The group stayed at an Assembly Of Christian Church Camp, which is located just a few miles from where we will be working, The camp was spacious and clean with dorms, kitchen, dining and meeting rooms.
