Guatemala 2005 |
| In January 2005 a team of 52
Carpenters For Christ went to Guatemala City to help on the construction of the Vocation School
addition at Shalom Baptist Church. This was a joint effort
between Kids for the Kingdom, Liberty Baptist Church and Carpenters for Christ.
Work began on this project in late 2004 with Tom and Kerry Jones,
Missionary coordinators from Liberty Baptist Church. This
project, when complete, will be an extension of the existing school which
has grades 1-12 and will allow the students to train for vocations which
will give them a head start on a better life in Guatemala.
