The School:

The school is an ongoing ministry.  Jose Galvez is a growing community.  When World Reach started to work in the community 8 years ago, the population was 90,000.  Today we are over 120,000 people and climbing.  Villa Maria del Triunfo and Pachacamac, two districts where Jose Galvez is located have over 800,000 people.  In Jose Galvez our school is the first Christian School ever.  The area is very impoverished.  We have started this year with K-3 and our goal is to provide a quality based education through 12th. Grade.  The curriculum is in English since it is the most desired language overseas.  Then, and as the Lord desires, our goal is to provide a Christian University, which will be the first one of its kind in the Lima area of more than nine (9) million people.  Our goal is to provide a high level of Christian Education that every child can take home and share it with their families.  We are sharing Christ and His salvation with every child which is impacting each family.  When the total school project is completed, we will have a Pre-school, Kindergarten, Elementary, and High School.  At that point, we will be investing in the lives of approximately 2500 children per year with Christian education.  It’s amazing to see that even now the number of parents of our K-3 students that are coming to Christ!  William Carey said: “Attempt great things for the Lord, expect great things from the Lord”.  And this is what we want to do.

The Medical Clinic:

Education and medicine are two of the greatest needs of the community of Jose Galvez.  Our goal is to have a medical Clinic where we can provide dental, gynecology, pediatrics, internal medicine, pharmacy, laboratory, and an emergency room care.  Also, we will have a prenatal center where we can help pregnant girls to have their babies instead abortion.  This is a very common problem among young girls and the need to counsel is paramount.  We know that this ministry will serve the entire community of Jose Galvez.  In this community we have one posta medica (medical post) that can only offer first aid in case of an accident.  The closest hospital is in the district of Villa Maria Del Triunfo which is 30 minutes by bus.  The people are in need of good medical care and we want to provide high quality medical care which will open for us a great platform to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to many people.  God has brought to our church a wonderful couple who desire to work in this type of medical ministry.  The husband is a dentist and the wife is a nurse.

The Staff House:

God continues assembling a gifted team of missionary men and women.  Presently, we have twenty-one (21) full time staff.  These staff members are from throughout Peru.  To better serve the community needs it is necessary to move our staff to the World Reach Campus where our Peruvian offices are located.  Not only will they live on the compound, but they will better help in our church planting efforts, visiting the church member families and are conducting evangelistic outreach.  Some of these missionaries are the ones that God gave us as fruit of our ministry.  In short, this staff needs a place to stay.  The purpose of this project is to have these men and women close enough to reach out with the gospel of or Lord Jesus Christ to the entire community.

The Vocation Skill Center:

One of the great deceptions that many of our youth from the community has is that when they finish high school, further education ends for them.  It is so hard to see some of the local youth try year after year to enter a university, but fail because of lack of resources or skills.  Most of them in this stage enter a gang or, in the case of the girls, will have a baby just to have somebody take care of them for the rest of their lives.  God has given us this vision to provide vocational training that will equip these young people with the necessary skills that will help them to live a productive life and contribute to society.  We want to provide a center where they can learn carpentry, construction, welding, sewing, English and other technical careers.  This is a new ministry within the entire community and this will allow us to touch the lives of many of the youth of Jose Galvez.
